All submissions must be made electronically through the BISTEC online submission system. Step-by-step process:

1. Create an author account at https://bistec.org/index.php/bistecor/user/register
2. Log in and click "New Submission"
3. Follow the five-step wizard:

• Step 1: Confirm checklist and enter manuscript title, abstract, keywords
• Step 2: Upload main manuscript file (blinded — remove all author identifiers)
• Step 3: Upload supplementary files (figures, tables, data, consent forms)
• Step 4: Enter metadata (authors, affiliations, ORCID iDs, funding information)
• Step 5: Confirm and submit

Upon successful submission, the corresponding author will receive an automated email confirmation with a submission tracking number (e.g., BISTEC-2025-001).
