Author Guidelines
1. Aims and Scope
BISTEC invites original, unpublished research articles that contribute significantly to the intersection of business, information systems, technology, economics, and commerce within recent trend issues . Submissions must demonstrate theoretical rigor, methodological soundness, and practical or policy relevance. Interdisciplinary studies are strongly encouraged.
2. Types of Submissions

3. Submission Preparation Checklist
Authors must confirm the following before submitting:
The manuscript is original, has not been published previously, and is not under consideration elsewhere.
The manuscript is formatted according to BISTEC's template (see Section 5).
All authors have contributed significantly and have approved the final version.
Informed consent and ethical approval have been obtained where applicable.
The submission file is in Microsoft Word or LaTeX format.
All references are complete and follow BISTEC citation style (APA 7th Edition).
Figures and tables are placed within the text at appropriate positions.
4. Ethical Guidelines
BISTEC adheres to the highest standards of publication ethics. All submitted manuscripts are screened for plagiarism using professional software. Any manuscript with text similarity exceeding 20% (excluding bibliography) will be rejected without review.
Prohibited practices include:
Plagiarism (self, verbatim, or mosaic)
Data fabrication or falsification
Simultaneous submission to multiple journals
Undisclosed conflicts of interest
Unethical treatment of human or animal subjects
Violations will result in immediate rejection and, in severe cases, a two-year ban on future submissions from all listed authors.
5. Manuscript Formatting Requirements

6. Peer Review Process
BISTEC employs a double-anonymized peer review model. Neither authors nor reviewers know each other's identities.
Step Description Duration
1. Initial Screening Editor checks for scope, formatting, plagiarism, and ethical compliance 3–5 days
2. Assignment Two independent subject-matter experts are assigned 3–5 days
3. Peer Review Reviewers evaluate originality, methodology, significance, and clarity 3–4 weeks
4. Editorial Decision Editor synthesizes recommendations: Accept, Minor Revision, Major Revision, or Reject 3–7 days
5. Revision Authors address all reviewer comments and submit revised manuscript 2–4 weeks
6. Final Decision Editor approves or requires additional revisions 1–2 weeks
Acceptance Rate: Approximately 25–30% of submissions are ultimately published.
7. Submission Procedure
All submissions must be made electronically through the BISTEC online submission system.
Step-by-step process:
Create an author account at [YourJournalURL]/user/register
Log in and click "New Submission"
Follow the five-step wizard:
Step 1: Confirm checklist and enter manuscript title, abstract, keywords
Step 2: Upload main manuscript file (blinded — remove all author identifiers)
Step 3: Upload supplementary files (figures, tables, data, consent forms)
Step 4: Enter metadata (authors, affiliations, ORCID iDs, funding information)
Step 5: Confirm and submit
Upon successful submission, the corresponding author will receive an automated email confirmation with a submission tracking number (e.g., BISTEC-2025-001).
